LIVONIA — One of the Friends of the Livonia Public Library's popular used book sales is right around the corner.
The February sale runs Friday, Feb. 2, through Sunday, Feb. 4. The sale runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Civic Center Library is located at 32777 Five Mile Road. Shoppers do not need a library card and can use a credit card for purchases of $10 or more.
Shoppers can browse hundreds of books and media, like movies or CDs, fit for all ages. Most items at the sale cost $1 or less. Proceeds from the sale benefit Livonia's public library system.
Friends of the Library members and teachers can also shop at a "pre-sale" 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1. Teachers must present a school ID card at the door. Those who are not Friends of the Library members can sign up to become one at the door.
